I'm a Darwen-based photographer, a husband, and a dad of four — so I know exactly what a lively family shoot looks like, and I wouldn't want it any other way.

For 13 years I've worked as a commercial photographer across Lancashire and the UK, shooting everything from Crown Paints campaigns to Ribble Cycles, corporate headshots to food and product work. That background taught me one thing above all else: how to put people at ease in front of a camera.

Kids, grandparents, nervous rescue dogs, wriggly toddlers — they all get the same relaxed, patient approach.

I've now opened a dedicated family and pet studio at Wood Street Mill in Darwen — bringing that same professional approach to the families, kids, and four-legged characters of East Lancashire.

Expect a calm studio, plenty of treats for the dogs, and thirty focused minutes — no faff, no pressure on the little ones, and photographs that actually look like your family, not a stiff, posed version of it.
